Plymouth, MN 06/04/2007 — Primera Technology, Inc., the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of CD, DVD and Blu-ray Disc duplication and printing equipment, today announced its Bravo XRP-Blu Disc Publisher.
Along with built-in robotics and full-color direct-to-disc inkjet printing, the Bravo XRP-Blu incorporates two Panasonic® SW-5582 drives to record onto the widest range of optical media, including CD-R, DVD±R (single and dual layer) and BD-R (single and dual layer). Dual-layer BD-R media has a capacity of up to 50GB per disc.

Il DVCPRO non è fatto per l’editing e supporta le ripetute generazioni assai peggio del codec di Avid o Cineform che sono oltretutto ottimizzati per le CPU invece che i DSP Embedded: richiedono molte meno risorse e sono very smooth:

Naturalmente nulla può superare gli streaming non compressi di Aja, BlackMagic o Convergent Design. Quest’ulima brand ha poi appena messo in commercio unan vers del multibridge PCIe dual link che supporta 2K 4:4:4
